Love Aaj Kal the movie - Denies Plagiarism

The much talked Love Aaj Kal movie is facing blemishes as it is said that the movie replicates a Taiwanese film titled HAO DE SHI GUANG (Three Times).
The film unit denies such a blotch although the story line is a bit similar. But, honestly speaking and being utmost unbiased, there are countless movies releasing every year every where. The margin of coincidence is emaciated rather inevitable. If a director has a script, obviously he would do an indispensable research whether it is exclusive or not. But, it seems media is the paramount investigator around here. After a movie is made the people are acquainted with the fact whether the movie is a remake, a copy etc. There are two major questions that arise in my mind. One, is it fair on behalf of the movie maker? Two, how do you differentiate 'being inspired' and 'copy or remake'?
Well, it is a difficult job to be well versed with all the movies in all languages everywhere. But, this calls for a debate as this isn't an excuse every director can give. And this answers my second question. If the concept is alike, like the movie Love Aaj Kal, we can say that the movie is inspired or the movie is an unintentional resemblance of a different film. But other movies which are 'cut to cut' carbon copy of the other cant give the same lame excuse. Love Aaj Kal movie may have a resemblance with the Taiwanese movie, but that does not mean that the script is plagiarized. The thing which people should take into grievance that Imtiaz Ali, the director of the film has given us a blockbuster movie like 'Jab We Met' and all we can expect from him is yet another biggie. And from the looks of things to come, he just might do it again.
The story of Three Times runs in three phases. It features three chronologically separate stories of love between the two protagonists, set in 1911, 1966 and 2005. Whereas in Love Aaj Kal movie, there are just two stories which portray love then and now. So, Love Aaj Kal movie is in no way a rip off of 'Three Times'.
Love Aaj Kal, the movie is the next big thing hitting the silver screen and controversy always surrounds and hounds the good. Since, Bollywood is going through a rough patch; Love Aaj Kal is the movie to look forward for.
Getting inspired from a movie and plagiarism are two different things. And in this case, Love Aaj Kal falls safe and will prove its worth on the box office. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope Love Aaj Kal brings salvation to the Bollywood film fraternity. Love Aaj Kal is likely to follow the league of movies like New York, Kambakkht Ishq etc.
The music of the film is already out and making buzz all over the place. Songs like 'Twist' and 'Chor Bazari' are on everyone's mouth as the people are going gaga over these songs. Rip off or not, the movie sure has its share in store......
