Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 Movie Review - A Must Watch for Full of Entertainment!

YPD 2 Star Cast: Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Neha Sharma, Kristina Akheeva, Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor
Director: Sangeeth Sivan
While going for a sequel one surely takes with him memories for the prequel. The same happened with 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2'. We walked in expecting something much funnier. We expected the movie to take the 'Yamla Pagla Deewana' franchise a step higher. But we were highly disappointed.
Dharam Singh Dhillon (Dharmendra) and his son Gajodhar Singh Dhillon (Bobby Deol) are con men as they were in the first part. They are seen doing their old tricks in Varanasi. Comes in a UK-based multi-millionaire businessman (night club owner) Sir Yograj Khanna (Annu Kapoor) and his daughter Suman (Neha Sharma), who come to Varanasi to seek Yamla Baba’s (Dharmendra) blessings.
Unaware of his unstable financial condition, Dharam and Gajodhar conspire to con the businessman. Gajodhar eyes Suman, a die hard Salman Khan fan. Both Dharam and Gajodhar wish to use her as their push card for the UK.
As they land in UK, they sense the trouble that they had called for themselves as they are unaware that Dharam's elder son, Paramveer Singh Dhillon (Sunny Deol) works for Khanna. Paramveer is a Super Saver Sardar who, just in a day’s time, saves his boss's nightclub from being taken over by a crazed builder Joginder Armstrong (Anupam Kher).
This time the trio try to recreate their rendezvous in UK, the story now builds in here itself, Varanasi is left far away. Despite all the charactersincluding the orangutan (Einstin) who acts, try hard to entertain you and make you laugh but they dont succeed in their mission. The film surely has the potential to make you laugh, but the tacky script and the rude humorous dialogues lack the expected flavor.
Johny lever's entry, Bobby 70s style fighting, The jungli billi and bandar along with Dharampaji grooving to the tune of 'ye dosti hum nahi toddnge' are the most entertaining scenes of the movie
Dharmendra as con-man Dharam Singh Dhillon was quite cold as compared to what we saw in the first. he was lacking energy and the Punjabi power. All he has in the movie is his charming look, which no one was too keen for.
Sunny Deol as Paramveer Singh Dhillon, is the show stealer. He shows the perfect comic timing, power packed performances and is at his best even when he drunk at his worst.
Bobby Deol as Gajodhar Singh Dhillon does not attract us at all except the parts where is shown to be crzy for Salman Khan along with co-actress Neha Sharma. Thumbs up to who even without being entertains us.
Neha Sharma and Kristina Akheeva are just eye-candies. They dont have much to do in the film which is ruled complete by the Deol's.
Anupam Kher as Joginder Armstrong and Annu Kapoor as Sir Yograj Khanna are a delight to watch out. They manage to please the audience in the short time that they get on-screen.
Only the music of the movie is quite vibrant and energetic. If you really wish to see some comedy and want to go through a fun ride, we recommend you to get yourself a DVD of  and royally miss its 154 minutes sequel.
