Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum Production Suite 11

Viewing 3D movies is an exciting experience however, making one of your own is something quite different and for many people difficult as well. The Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum Production Suite 11 takes the entire video editing suite to a brand new dimension. The release of this package brings in a lot more features that what were the parts of its predecessor which is inclusive of the stereoscopic 3D feature as well as a unique interactive helping system through which you can speed up. The product is quite impressive with a few drawbacks in its record such as the unavailability of features through which a complete 3D Blu-Ray disc can be created.
The interface system of the program is more user friendly and intuitive along with the excellent assistance system. It does not strip down its interface rather, it is quite configurable which allows the user to resize, rearrange and add in many plug-ins and pop out windows. Most of the functions in the design can be used with a single click which is another reason why you can speed up your work.

On the other hand, the Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum Production Suite 11 has a feature termed as ‘Show me How’. This feature is a guide throughout the application long with determining ways to edit audio and video files, importing media files, exporting video as well as bringing in additional text and effects. The feature is considered to be handy not only for learning purposes but, to know how to benefit from the less-used functions.
The Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum Production Suite 11 has quite similar editing features than its big brother along with a new feature supporting the stereoscopic 3D editing aspect. 3D images and videos can be imported from 3D cameras in MPO and MVC formats. These images or videos can be edited into 2D formats and can later on be viewed on 3D supporting devices.
Another great feature of the software is a disc authoring which is used to create Blu-Ray discs and DVD’s. The same tutorial is also presented over here through which you can learn how to create a project of your own, add in menu objects, add titles, editing chapter points, etc. There are 56 menus containing different themes for every occasion however, you can also import themes of your choice.
Moreover, if you want to create or burn the data into Blu-Ray format, the application will only take you half way across as this aspect requires certain improvements and until then 3D should be considered a more viable option with this software.
Verdict
The Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum Production Suite 11 is available in two versions. The first one being the standard package is priced to be $99.95 and has Vegas Movie Studio and DVD Architect Studio whereas, the $129.95 priced version includes the two in addition to Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 which is a sound editing program. All in all, the program is great for creating your own 3D movies however; certain stability criteria should be included in its up gradation process.
