This movie is one of the best ones in the football movies genre. it takes us to the story of a washed out bartender with no future ahaead of him and the only thing that seems to be holding him with two feet on the ground is his love to american football.every week he gets with his friends and play amateur football on the local filed in the neighborhood.while being the best in his team he has no expectations of ever playing profesional football. this all changes when the philiadelphia eagles are having open trial outs for everyone to join and try our for the team.after having a really bad couple of seasons the new head coach of the team figures that it cant get any worse then it already is so trying to reqruit amateur football players is not such a bad idea. vince papale lost his job as a substitute teacher and as said was bartending twice a week at a crappy bar.when he saw on the television the ad for the open tryouts all his friends talk him into going and give it a try. he did more then that and was actually preety good and the new head coach said he is good enough to play for the team. papale played for three seasons with the philiadelphia eagles and scored one touchdown on a fumble recovery. this movie tell the tale of a man who had no future but got his life turend around because he bealived he could do it.it is a reat movie and every fan should watch it.often football movies makes us digg deep and find our soul. this is what this sport is all about. never quiting. never give up. bealive in your self. you could learn alot from watching some this movie was produced by the same guys who did the "remember the titans" movie and " the rookie " so this is the third movie that they had in the football genre. there are better like any given sunday and we are marshell but this one dosent fall too far from them also.staring: Mark wahlberg, greg kinnear, elizabeth banks and other great actors. if you like to read about more great
